AEDES
[ steel shelf ]
A term often used in architecture to describe a space
or structure that frames what takes place within it.
AEDES is reduced and quiet in its expression.
Even a simple shelf is more than a function. It
shapes how a space is experienced, how objects
are placed, and how we relate to our surroundings.
AEDES is minimalist, but not simple. It is clean, but
not anonymous. The bracket is shaped as a circular curve. Visible and intentional. Not hidden beneath the shelf, but integrated as part of the design.
The material re昀氀ects the surrounding space and the
light within it, shifting throughout the day. In this way,
AEDES becomes part of the room rather than an object within it.
